Synopsis
Balu is a spirited village boy whose imagination often leads him into mischief. Inspired by a royal tale on television, he dreams of riding a goat like a mighty horse. But his playful adventure takes an unexpected turn when he falls and injures himself.
His mother rushes to his side, frightened and angry. As she scolds him, her concern overwhelms her anger, and she pulls her crying son into a loving embrace. Nearby, a mother goat tenderly reunites with her little kid, reflecting the same instinctive bond.
Through these parallel moments of motherhood, Balu – The Little Rascal explores the delicate space between discipline and affection, mischief and innocence, fear and unconditional love.
Inspired by a real childhood memory, the film transforms an intimate personal experience into a universal reflection on the love that protects us, even when it arrives disguised as anger.
