Manhole

A young boy works with his father collecting garbage. One day, he meets a kind-hearted girl. That same day, his father steals a manhole cover from a street.

The next day, the boy goes back to the alley where he met the girl, hoping to see her again. But he discovers that she has fallen into the open sewer—the very sewer whose cover his father had stolen.

Fed up with his difficult life, his family’s circumstances, and his father’s abuse, the boy decides to lock his father inside a furnace and kill him. But at the last moment, he changes his mind.
