Synopsis
In a rural region scarred by wildfires, Zé, an arsonist, hires Tonho, a humble young man, to burn the forest for easy money.
Among the trees live Graveta and her family — delicate beings made of leaves, seeds, and twigs — unaware of the danger approaching.
When the fire consumes their home, the ancestral spirits of the forest awaken to defend their world.
Mymba’i – Permission to the Guardians of the Forest is a poetic short film about destruction, resistance, and rebirth — an ecological fable that celebrates nature’s indomitable soul.
