Synopsis
Soar Buddies is an animated short that follows a young girl and the imaginative drama she creates with her two most cherished toys: a dog and a cat. Her father, a naval pilot currently in service, gifted her these toys, making them both beloved companions and emotional anchors in his absence.
Within the girl’s imagined world, the dog and cat possess contrasting personalities and constantly compete for attention. Their rivalry escalates into conflict, ultimately leading to a crisis that causes both of them to fail. Guided by the girl’s encouragement, the two toys learn to set aside their differences and work together. The story traces a heartfelt journey from competition to cooperation, celebrating the innocence, resilience, and emotional richness of a child’s imaginative world.
