Synopsis
Dominic lives in Fregon, a small Indigenous community in the Australian Outback. In this short documentary, he takes us through his everyday life — from school to home and to his homeland.
Dominic shows what a typical day looks like in his remote community. After classes, we follow him through his afternoon, spending time with friends and family. The film also takes us out to his homeland, where we meet his father, who raises camels.
Through Dominic’s perspective, the film offers a quiet and personal glimpse into childhood in one of Australia’s most remote regions.
Students of the World is an international documentary series in which children guide the audience through their daily lives and school experiences in different countries. Without an adult narrator, the students themselves tell their stories and offer an authentic glimpse into growing up and going to school around the world.
